The Armoury isn't your typical audio studio. Here, founder and engineer Troy Kelly possesses a rare quality – he truly ‘listens’.  His expertise transcends mere technical understanding; he speaks the language of sound, both for the craftsman and the client. Whether collaborating with advertising agencies, channeling the fury of a metal band, or crafting soundscapes for film or games, Troy understands the sonic needs of every project.

At The Armoury, sound is treated like the arsenal it truly is. After all, in the sonic battlefield, the right tools are vital. That's why Troy boasts an "arsenal" (as he aptly calls it) of top-tier equipment, ready to conquer any audio challenge

The studio's identity reflects this philosophy.  A bold, typographic "A" serves as an emblem, doubling as a speaker icon for a touch of visual harmony. Layers of intricate patterns evoke the very essence of sound waves, further grounding the brand in its sonic domain.

Perfection is Troy's pursuit. He doesn't settle for "good enough" – every element he creates is meticulously balanced and layered. From the initial selection of high-quality tools to their masterful execution, this dedication extends to every project.

To translate this meticulous approach visually, we crafted a comprehensive branding experience. This encompassed not only the visual identity, but also the social media presence and communication materials – a holistic suite designed to effectively promote The Armoury and its unwavering commitment to sonic excellence.

Given there are a lot of amateur home studio users out there, I encouraged The Armoury to try and tell their story beyond what they technically do and elaborate on how important their expertise is in crafting something truly professional.
